Care

– Some things to avoid with wooden tableware: Microwave, dishwasher, soaking, abrasive scrubbing, harsh chemicals.

– Use the softer sponge-surfaced cleaners only or a soft washcloth. Mild dish soap works best.

– Do not let your wood tableware soak or stay wet for a period of time. Wash and dry it as quickly as possible.

– Wood isn’t maintenance-free. Woodware needs a bit of looking after as it becomes dull with use. Luckily, all you need to do is rub it with some food-safe oil (coconut oil) every 5-6 months or when they’re looking drab. It’s amazing how the oil revives them and buffs them to a lovely soft sheen.
