I ordered this dress ion November 10th and did not receive it until the end of December. The shipping info on the site said it would take 2 weeks to ship. I ordered this dress during their sale, which I imagine was super busy for them, so I didn’t have any issue with the wait. But over a month had passed any the status of my order was still “processing”. I had reached out on multiple platforms, numerous times over that month and didn’t receive any update on if my order was coming. I only got a proper response once I mentioned that I would have to dispute the charge through paypal because I had to assume I would never receive the item. My package was entered into the shipping system shortly after. While I initially thought I got duped by beautiful marketing, I am so glad that I held off cancelling the order. The dress is absolutely flawless. The structure, the tailoring, the stitching, the material are all OUTSTANDING. When I first placed my order, I got my measurements wrong and they reached out directly to me because they didn’t seem correct to the team who received them. Had they sent me the original dress size I ordered, I would have been forced to sell it to a football player. So all this to say, Turn Black is legit, they are not false advertising. The dress exceeded my expectations in every way and the wait was absolutely worth it. I would suggest they update their shipping info so customers don’t have to harass customer service to get an updated status on their orders – but be patient if you order. These are real people, and these products are handmade, their production was probably overwhelmed with the success of their sale and Christmas. You will not regret this purchase. I will happily wait 3 months to receive any items I order in the future because they will last a lifetime.

I’m petite and I have trouble finding dresses that don’t swallow me. This dress is long but unlike a lot of other dresses, it actually flatters me. To give my waist some definition sometimes I use the black removable belt that came with the Black Dahlia dress. I still can’t believe that I gave them my exact measurements and it fit me perfectly. I wish every company was like this company. Saves me a trip to the tailor!

i’m obsessed with this dress, it’s a dream to wear. loose and flowy, but still has some structure with the details at the top. (if you have a larger neck or arms i’d def provide those measurements to ensure it’s comfortable for you)

I love this dress. The service was very good, I had to send some measurements and the dress fits perfectly. I always have to change something, when I buy clothes or I have to do compromises. But this dress is everything. It’s the perfect length and fits totally perfect at chest and arms, and these are often very complicated, because I have a bigger chest size but small arms.

Beautifully stitched, the pockets make it flare even more! The buttons take a little getting used to, but its perfect in every other way. I usually feel really uncomfortable in women’s clothes, probably because most brands don’t bother making anything for my shape or size. This is the closest thing to a dress I own and I genuinely haven’t felt happier in anything.
The delivery exchange cycle took a little longer than I’m used to, but it was SO worth the wait.
