Walking On My Own is a black gathered dress with Kantha work on the bodice. The easy breezy flow of the dress makes it a nice windy day outfit! It’s 3/4th gathered sleeves add a feminine touch and are bound to make heads turn no matter where you are. The dress is highly customizable and flexible and thus goes well with almost anything that’s already in your cupboard. However, we recommend you pair it with the “Upside Down” pants.

I love this dress! The fabric is very high quality, the skirt part is very full, and the kantha detail on the bodice is a nice handmade touch. My only suggestion is that the bodice could be a bit longer in the larger sizes, so that the bottom edges of the bodice sits below the bust.
This shipping process to Canada was a little long, and unfortunately I had to pay additional duties to receive my order.

The kantha work on the bodice is intricate and neat, and the full skirt falls beautifully. Really sweet of the folks at Turn Black to pare it down to a length that suits my 5 feet 2″ height wonderfully. MY only complaint is that the fabric feels a but stiff right now, but maybe it’ll soften with a couple of washes. Will definitely come back for more!
